Biographical Data

"Donegan, Julia E. - December 23,1874 - January 8,1905, the daughter of John C. and Mary Donegan. Julia never married, she became a teacher at the age of 16 years, she taught at many places in the Montana area, became Madison County Superintendent of Schools until her death. It was believed she was suffering from mental derangement, she refused to eat or drink, she went from Butte where she was teaching, to spend Christmas with her father and sisters at Puller Springs where she died.
